Sinus

Sinus also referred as sinusitis is the infection that occurs in the sinus cavities. Sinus can be caused due to bacteria, virus or fungi. The other causes for sinus are extreme cold conditions, air pollutants, stress and excess of smoking. Sinus is divided into three classes namely acute, sub acute and chronic.
Person who are affected by these diseases suffer from the blocks in the nasal due to the formation of mucus in the nasal passages. The most common symptoms that are noted down for sinus are head aches, cough, fever and greenish nasal discharge. Acute sinus occurs for a short period of time of maximum eight weeks and not more than that. The chronic sinus lasts for a longer period than the acute sinus.
They may occur for more than eight weeks. Problems such as bad breath and sore throats are caused due to bad breath. People who suffer from this disease will have to bare a lot of pain especially in the early morning. There are several home treatments that are available to get rid of the sinus but it is advised that home treatments should be done only after consulting the doctor.
